What are the causes of sagging skin (face, neck and décolleté) ?

 

 

  • Sun exposure: Thin skin has fewer hair follicles to block the sun’s rays. Therefore, it is more prone to showing signs of aging and sun damage.
  • Gravity: The fatty tissues under the skin become depleted and partially migrate toward the bottom of the face, due to the constant pull of gravity.

Collagen is a protein responsible for giving skin its structure and support. As we age, its natural production declines, resulting in the loss of firmness and tonicity of our skin.
